The Great And All Embracing Toy Store

Every store one goes in has some sort of toy section. Then there are stores devoted exclusively to toys. Some toys are loud, while some are quiet. Some toys need batteries and others just need a child. Some are soft and some are hard. There are a ceaseless amount of toys to choose from.

Toys can be very helpful. Sometimes parents love them, like when your children are playing quietly with them or seeing their children face light up when getting a new one. Children and toys make any holiday extremely fun. Sometimes, even when faced with the prospect of tackling numerous toy stores, shopping for toys for any child can be very gratifying. Toys help children’s imaginations grow. Nowadays, toys even help teach children their letters, numbers, shapes, and colors. Toys can be helpful in teaching children to share and play with each other. Now, there are toys made that parents can enjoy as well as the children. Once you get past the sticker shock on some, toys are a very good thing.

Now, let’s move on to the dark side of toys. This is the side where you can’t hear yourself think over the sound of the electronic toys. Worse yet, whenever you need something in your house and the lights are out; your foot almost always finds the one sharp toy in the house. Somehow, no matter how hard one tries, one’s house always becomes overwhelmed with toys. Toys always seem to need batteries. It seems like all the batteries in all the toys die at once and you never buy enough batteries when you go shopping. Plus, with all the toys around, it is near about impossible to take a child in a store without getting asked incessantly for one. Toys can be most frustrating, especially when your child wants your attention and the toy finds your head.

Toys are a funny thing. When you buy a game, the most important piece seems to go missing. When your child gets a new toy, not even a week later the toy is lost. One day a toy inspires a fight amongst children, while the next day, the toy lay forgotten. It seems like every week there is a new toy your child wants. Don’t give up hope; one day when your child is an adult, they will face the same problems as you do with their children.
