Do-It-Yourself Cameras And Wide Angle Lens

Nothing lets us share our vacation stories better than the pictures we have taken during our trips. And with the current technology, we are given so many choices on how we share these photos.

Tips for Taking Better Vacation Photos can be found all over the web. All you need is Google and voila, you can take your pick from all the advices available.

With what is available today, you’d think that everyone does the same. However, there are quite a few people who do not take pictures while on vacation. Some may be hiding something or are just not the type who’d want to keep photos as souvenirs. And then, sadly, there are those who just do not have a camera. Well, some do borrow from friends or family whereas others just buy the disposable type.

But what if you cannot get a hold of one?

A DIY camera is one cheap option where you can download and print a pin-hole camera which you can assemble on your own, or, for those who want to have a camera to use longer…

You can turn a disposable camera (which is worth around 10US$) into a digital camera which you can use over and over again. It’s a bit more complicated to do but manageable, nonetheless.

Also, thanks to Linatree, you can actually make one!!! They have made the first downloadable pinhole camera which you can print out, cut and assemble.

“A pinhole is a camera that uses a very small hole, as if made by a pin instead of a lens, for light to enter and form an image on the film or other light-sensitive medium…

You can use a PAN film or Neopan 100. You can also use any 35 mm film.”

Isn’t that great? This is truly a cheaper option.

In my opinion, pictures are the best ever trip souvenir that we can take home with us to remind us of the fun we had while on vacation. Thank God for digital photos, we do not have to spend a lot of money on films and prints. That is, if you have a digital camera.

Since your vacation’s budget is already limited, I doubt that buying a new (even a used one) digital camera is possible. You can, however, borrow a digicam from a friend or a relative. If even that is not possible, you can just do a McGyver with a DIY Camera. Another option is to make your own Ten-Dollar Digital Camera.

Plan on going somewhere scenic and want great wide angle shots? The $11 DIY Wide-Angle Lens is the answer to your prayers.

Whichever strikes your fancy, I hope you enjoy and take tons of pictures to remember your vacation.
