Where did all the people go?
When I go up and down the supermarket aisles, I see pictures of Paul Newman and Wolfgang Puck on almost everything. I’ve come to the conclusion both these men are missing and soon their pictures will be on milk cartons.
Supermarket cashiers are missing too…

Yesterday when I was driving along the freeway, a man in the car ahead of me threw a bag of fast-food trash out the passenger window. I gasped, then I raged, then I honked - not a little, hey-you honk. This was a long, in-your-face-from-behind-you honk.

Am I the only mother who wonders why Mother’s Day is just once a year? The day a woman brings a child into the world she becomes a mother and she’s a mother for the rest of her life.
The way I look at it, children who have been given the gift of life should find ways to thank their mothers every day…
