5 Surefire Copywriting Tips For Affiliate Success!

If you want to make a lot of money as an affiliate, then being able to write or speak well is the most important skill you can have. It’s the only way you can build relationships with hundreds or thousands of people at once. And, as a result, generate a large amount of long-term sales.

So, in this article, I am going to share with you 5 surefire tips to communicate effectively:

1.Focus on the reader or listener. Use “YOU” and avoid using “I” or “we” (when referring to yourself).

“We” can actually be a good term to use if you’re talking about yourself and the reader doing
something together. Everybody’s first instinct is to talk about themselves.

However, if you want people to read your articles or sales copy, it’s got to be about the readers or listners. Show them how they can achieve goals, save time, avoid effort, make money, and have a better life.

Focus on the benefits the readers get by taking an action that you want (such as reading your articles or buying the product you’re promoting). The only time you should refer to yourself is to BRIEFLY establish credibility - or explain why people should listen to you. Don’t go on and on about yourself.

An excellent book on this topic is “How To Win Friends and Influence Other People” By Dale Carnegie (you can pick-it up at any bookstore). This is a MUST read book for anybody in the music industry or anybody that has something to promote.

2. Keep your sentences short. Longer sentences are harder to digest.

You should think of writing as though your talking to somebody one-on-one. You’re not trying to impress anybody. Instead, you’re trying to connect and relate with your audience.

3. Avoid big words when a small one will do.

Big words may make people think you’re smart, but they prevent you from getting your points across. Every time a reader stumbles or stops, is a chance you can easily lose him or her forever.

4. Cut out the fluff. If a word adds nothing to your overall point, cut it out.

Usually, if you think something is really cute and clever, then it often needs to go. If you wouldn’t say it if you were selling face-to-face, don’t use it in your writing.

5. Say what the listener needs to know to make a decision. Nothing more. Nothing less. Often people start worrying about writing or saying too much.

As long as it’s relevant and of interest to the reader/listener, don’t hesitate to include it. By following these simple tips alone, you’re ability to connect with your readers will increase dramatically!
The final result is that you build a long-term business that pours in money non-stop.
